Islip Man Arrested for Burglarizing East Islip Home

East Islip, NY - January 24th, 2015 - Suffolk County Police today arrested a man who burglarized an East Islip home early this morning.
 
Third Precinct Officer Brian Magill responded to a 911 call of a suspicious man knocking on doors and looking into windows on Adams Street, in East Islip. Upon arrival, Officer Magill heard loud noises coming from the rear of a home on Adams Street W., and observed a man flee on foot. Officer Magill quickly caught the suspect and arrested him at approximately 8:10 a.m. Upon further investigation, it was determined, the suspect, Kevin Moore had just burglarized a home.
 
Third Squad detectives charged Moore, 37, of Bittermint St., Islip, with Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree, and Possession of Burglars Tools.
 
Moore is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 24.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
