Hicksville, NY - January 22nd, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 7:57 pm in Hicksville.

According to detectives, a male Hispanic entered Smiths Pharmacy, 53 N. Broadway, and was met by the store owner. The subject, who was armed with a knife, showed it to the victim and ordered her to the rear of the store where two other employees were present. After demanding money, the store owner handed the subject an undisclosed amount of cash from register drawers that were on a table. The subject also took a cell phone from the victim before fleeing the pharmacy northbound on N. Broadway.

The uninjured victim and employees described the subject as being approximately 5’6”-5’8” tall and weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood up over his head, a black fabric mask with its eyes cutout and one glove on his hand.
