Bayport Man Arrested for Possession of Child Porn, According to Police

Suffolk County Police arrested a Bayport man on Tuesday, January 20 for possessing child pornography and promoting a sexual performance of a child.
 
Following a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Suffolk County Police Digital Forensics Unit detectives investigated Ryan Yost and executed a search warrant at his home, located at 269 East Road. Following an investigation, images depicting child pornography were found on a cell phone at the residence and Yost was arrested at approximately 6:30 p.m.
 
Yost, 22, was charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child Under 16, both felonies. He is being held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 21.
