The Friends of St. Patrick are pleased to announce that the 74th annual Miller Place/ Rocky Point Parade will be held on Sunday, March 15 starting at 1 pm in Miller Place. This year’s Grand Marshal is Brookhaven 2nd District Councilwoman Jane Bonner.

Councilwoman Jane Bonner has proudly served the residents of Brookhaven’s Second District since first being elected in 2007. She is the proud daughter of James and Barbara Brittingham, one of eight children, and grew up in Northport before making Rocky Point her home in 1987, where she raised her children, Elizabeth and David, built deep roots within the community, and shares her life with her loving and patient husband, John Sandusky. Her commitment to public service grew from years of involvement in the Rocky Point community, including service as President of the Rocky Point Civic Association, a member of the Rocky Point School Board, and as a legislative aide to former Suffolk County Legislator and current Highway Superintendent Daniel Losquadro.

A proud parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua, Councilwoman Bonner has long been dedicated to faith-based service and youth development, having also served as a religion teacher and CYO coach. She is a longtime supporter of the Friends of St. Patrick and the Miller Place to Rocky Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade, proudly marching alongside residents and local leaders and regularly participating in events recognizing Grand Marshals, honorees, and scholarship recipients.

It is a distinct honor that Councilwoman Jane Bonner will serve as Grand Marshal of the 2026 Miller Place to Rocky Point St. Patrick’s Day Parade, an acknowledgment of her enduring support of the Friends of St. Patrick, her lifelong commitment to community, and her appreciation for the heritage, pride, and camaraderie the parade represents.
