Hempstead, NY - January 18, 2019 - Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 11:20 p.m. in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, a vehicle struck a 43 year-old male victim in front of 200 Franklin Ave. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
 
The victim, who suffered multiple injuries, was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
