Man Wanted for Robbing Bank in North Bellmore

North Bellmore, NY - January 18th, 2014 - Robbery Squad detectives are investigating a bank Robbery that occurred on January 17, 2014 at 5:55 pm in North Bellmore.
 
According to detectives, a male white subject entered the Chase Bank, 1542 Bellmore Avenue and waited to be called by a teller. After approaching the teller and presenting a demand note, the subject was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the bank southbound on Newbridge Road. He was described as being 26-27 years old, 5’8” tall, 140-145 pounds, with a thin build and a thin goatee/beard. The subject was wearing jeans and a black scarf that was covering the lower part of his face.
 
The four customers and four employees that were present during the Robbery were uninjured.
