Holbrook Woman Arrested for Forging Prescription

Seaford, NY - January 17th, 2014 - The Narcotics/Vice Bureau reports the details of an Arrest for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument.  The incident occurred on May 16, 2013 at 9:48am in Seaford.

According to Detectives, defendant Krystyna Barna, 28, of 182 Union Avenue Holbrook presented an altered prescription for Oxycodone to the pharmacist at Charlie’s Family Pharmacy located at 3931 Merrick Road.  The investigation led to the arrest of Defendant Barna at Suffolk County District Court located at 400 Carleton Avenue in Central Islip at 12:00pm on January 16, 2014.

The defendant is charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree.  Defendant Barna will be arraigned in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
