Police: Massapequa Man Accused of Charging Over $100K on Stolen Credit Card

The Major Case Bureau reports on the arrest of a Massapequa man on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 12:07 PM for multiple Larcenies that occurred between April 21st, 2025 and September 2nd, 2025 in Nassau County.
 
According to Electronic Squad (ELS) and Fraud/Forgery Detectives, a subject made multiple unauthorized charges on a credit card totaling to approximately $108,000.00 US currency. On October 23rd, 2025 a report was filed on the unauthorized charges and an investigation was conducted.
 
Following a thorough investigation, defendant Anastassios Poukamisas, 30, of 240 North Virginia Avenue was found to have been responsible. Defendant Anastassios Poukamisas was located and placed under arrest without incident.  
 
Defendant Anastassios Poukamisas is charged with one count of Grand Larceny 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Saturday, January 17, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
