SCPD Seeking to Identify Suspects Involved in Central Islip Hit-and-Run Incident

Central Islip, NY - January 16, 2019 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Major Case detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that struck a man and fled the scene in Central Islip in January.
 
A man was struck by two vehicles while walking on Lowell Avenue on January 1 at approximately 1:30 a.m. Both vehicles stopped after striking the man. People got out of the vehicles and looked at the man, returned to their vehicles and fled the scene.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
