Masked Suspect Wanted for Mugging Woman in Roosevelt

Roosevelt, NY - January 16th, 2015 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2:51 am in Roosevelt.

According to detectives, a 23 year old female victim was sitting in her parked vehicle located in front of 295 East Clinton Avenue, when an unknown male subject opened her drivers’ side door and displayed a black handgun. The subject tried grabbing the victims’ wallet which was on her lap but the victim held on. The subject then took the victims’ I-phone and fled the scene on foot.  The subject is described as a male black, in his twenties, 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a gray mask, blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt. There were no reported injuries.
