NCPD VIDEO: Man Runs Over, Kills Hempstead Gas Station Worker During $22 Gas-and-Dash Incident
South Hempstead, NY - January 15, 2019 - The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred at 7:23am on Monday, January 14, 2019 in South Hempstead.
According to Detectives, Cemal Dagdeviren of Levittown, 59, was struck by a dark colored SUV in front of the Pit Stop Gas Station located at 1210 Grand Avenue. The SUV left the scene and was last seen southbound on Grand Avenue. The male victim was transported to South Nassau Communities Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
