Bay Shore Man Arrested for Possessing Child Pornography, According to Officials

Bay Shore, NY - January 15, 2019 - Suffolk County Police on Monday, January 14 arrested a Bay Shore man for possessing child pornography.
 
Computer Crimes Section detectives arrested Cristhian Villavicencio for possessing child pornography on his cell phone at approximately 5:30 p.m.
 
Villavicencio, 25, of Bay Shore, was charged with one count of Possessing Sexual Performance by a child less than 16-years-old, an E Felony.
 
Special Victims Section detectives also charged Villavicencio, who was on probation for a 2016 conviction for Possessing Sexual Performance by a child less than 16-years-old, with three counts of failing to register the social media accounts found on his cell phone. Failing to register the accounts is a violation of the New York State corrections law, an E Felony.
 
Villavicencio was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 15.   
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
