Reports indicate that a crash involving two school busses in Riverhead sparked a major emergency response on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 14.
First responders converged at the intersection of Northville Turnpike and Doctors Path after two mini school busses collided with one another at approximately 3:30 p.m., according to officials.
Among the responders where four ambulances and multiple firefighters.
It is not known as of press time if there were any injuries involved, or if there were any students on board the busses at the time of the accident. More information will be provided as it comes in.
