Nuvo Kitchen, serving up Caribbean-fusion food, finally opened its doors late last year and the reviews are strong with this East Meadow eatery.

Symantha W., of Rockville Centre, wrote that the place was amazing.

“The food, the ambiance, the customer service (even from the owners),” she wrote. “Initially supported because it was black owned but this has become my favorite place to go overall. A 5 star experience from top to bottom. Highly recommend. The oxtail stuffed mushroom and the jerk ribeye are soooooo good!”

The menu is hard to locate online (none can be found as of this writing on the website) but posts on review sites and images on social media give a glimpse of the Caribbean fare.

They tout their grilled octopus and rum glazed sugar-cane beef on Facebook with delectable photos. We also get glimpses of fried glazed Calamari and their NK Rum Punch.
