Glen Cove, NY - January 14, 2019 - Senator Jim Gaughran honored 22 incoming Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department Officers Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at Glen Cove Fire Headquarters with a New York State Senate Proclamation. 
 
Senator Jim Gaughran said “Volunteer firefighters are the unsung heroes of our community. They answer the call day and night, coming to the need of their neighbors without a second thought, and it was my great pleasure to honor these outstanding first responders for their commitment and dedication to Glen Cove.”
