Sayville, NY - January 14, 2016 - Legislator Bill Lindsay recently honored Bryan Mastrangelo during a special Veterans Pinning Ceremony at last month’s General Meeting.

Mastrangelo, a member of the United States Coast Guard, spends countless hours volunteering his time and giving back to his community. Currently Mastrangelo volunteers as a member of the Sayville Community Ambulance Company, an Executive Officer of the Lt. Michael Murphy Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps, and the President of the United States Coast Guard Chief’s Association. In addition to his volunteer work he is a Suffolk County Police Officer with the 6th Precinct and a member of the United States Coast Guard.

“I am proud to honor and recognize Bryan for his exceptional dedication to our nation and to our local community,” said Legis. Lindsay. “Our emergency volunteers, like Bryan, sacrifice so much to ensure the safety of their neighbors, and I cannot thank them all enough for everything that they do to better our community.”
