Nassau County Executive Laura Curran in Quarantine

In a statement on Wednesday evening, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran said that she will be quarantined for 10 days due to a recent exposure to a positive Covid-19 case.

 

“I'm feeling well and will be getting tested appropriately during my quarantine, which will begin immediately,” she announced on Facebook.

 

Curran is known to host daily live updates on the state of the pandemic in Nassau that is broadcasted live on her Facebook page. No word on whether she will continue to update residents while she is in quarantine.
