Oceanside Library to Host Summer Camp & Program Fair

Oceanside Library has teamed up with Rolling River Day Camp and dozens of additional programs to host the first annual Oceanside Summer Camp & Program Fair.

The first annual Oceanside Summer Camp & Program Fair will be held on January 24th, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Oceanside Library (on the lower level). The event is free and open to the public.

Update - January 22, 2016 - Please be advised that due to predicted inclement weather the fair originally scheduled for January 24th, 2016 has been rescheduled. Instead, the fair will be held on February 2nd, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Oceanside, NY - January 15, 2016 - Oceanside Library has teamed up with Rolling River Day Camp and dozens of additional programs to host the first annual Oceanside Summer Camp & Program Fair. This free, interactive fair will feature a wide variety of summer camps that specifically serve residents of Southwest Nassau County. This is the first event of its kind to host dozens of local summer programs all in one, central Oceanside location.

Participating programs include Day Camps, Sports Camps, Travel Camps, Sleepaway, Science/Academic Camps & more. The summer camp fair is a convenient way for families to identify a program that best suits the needs of their child or family.  Each summer program will run a booth with information and activities for participants. There will also be multiple program representatives onsite to answer questions about camp activities, tuition and more. 

Oceanside Library will serve as an ideal location for the fair. In addition to an extensive literary collection, Oceanside Library serves as an integral community center by hosting various events and programs such as concert/movie nights, children’s programs, adult education classes, and much more.        

The Oceanside Summer Camp & Program Fair will be held on January 24th, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Oceanside Library (on the lower level). This event is free and open to the public and families may drop in at any time the fair is open. Attendees do not need to be residents of Oceanside.  For more information please visit online
