Andrew Pabon, 20, of Fresh Meadow, was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, and traffic violations.

Town of Babylon, NY - January 12, 2016 - On 1/12/16 at about 1:25 AM, troopers from SP Brentwood stopped a Blue Chevrolet Tahoe for speeding (75 mph in a 55 zone), and failing to maintain lane on the eastbound Southern State Parkway near Route 109 (exit 33).  While interviewing the vehicle operator, Andrew Pabon, age 20, of Fresh Meadows NY, troopers detected signs of impairment.  Mr. Pabon failed sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while impaired by drugs.  A vehicle search yielded bottles of Ketamine and MDMA, as well as a small amount of marihuana.  Mr. Pabon also had 4 bottles of Ketamine on his person at the time of his arrest.

The defendant was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree(Class D Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree(A Misd.), Unlawful Possession of Marihuana(Violation), and traffic violations.  Mr. Pabon was held for arraignment in Suffolk County First District Court.
