Sag Harbor, NY - January 11, 2017 - Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce THE STOWAWAYS: AN EVENING OF IMPROV COMEDY events at Bay Street Theater on Saturday, February 3 & 17, and March 3 & 17 at 8 pm. All shows will be different since with improvisational comedy, you never know what will happen! Tickets are $25-$30 and are on sale now at baystreet.org or by calling the Box Office at 631-725-9500.

The Stowaways is made up of the New York area's talented young actors, musicians, and comedians brought together by their common love of classic and modern improv comedy forms. They all have a mission and passion to rejuvenate the art form.

The troupe works out of New York City, but their home base is at Bay Street Theater. The idea for improv troupe programming at Bay Street Theater was developed by Scott Schwartz, Artistic Director for Bay Street Theater, and Rob Reese, who now leads the group. Reese is a theater director with over 20 years of experience in improvisation who has performed, directed and taught the craft throughout the United States and over a dozen countries on five continents.

The Stowaways is currently the only professional improvisation troupe in the New York area. It is made up of a crew of hilarious, irreverent, goofballs who simply refuse to utilize a script. The Stowaways' ridiculous, improv comedy is simultaneously smart, silly, and surprising! The audience and the performers never know what’s coming next because it’s a surprise to everyone. The only guarantee is an evening full of laughs.

The Box Office is currently open Tuesday – Saturday, 11 am – 5 pm. To purchase tickets call 631-725-9500 or log on to baystreet.org.
