Authorities Seeking Suspect Who Stole Briefcase Containing Cash from Hempstead Vehicle

Hempstead, NY - January 11, 2017 - The Third Squad reports the details of a Grand Larceny that occurred on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 9:08 am in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, the male victim, 32, parked his 2012 Chevrolet Traverse on Main Street. An unknown male entered the victim’s vehicle, removed a black briefcase containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and a sink faucet.
 
The subject is described as a male Hispanic, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, medium build, short dark hair, with a beard and mustache. He was wearing a red jacket, grey pants, dark colored shoes and a red, white and blue knapsack.
