Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) announced that her office has scheduled a third free, virtual tax grievance workshop for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
During this workshop, property owners who disagree with the assessed value of their property can learn how to navigate the grievance process from Nassau County assessment expert Jeff Gold, a former member of the Nassau County Board of Assessors and a former commissioner of the Assessment Review Commission (ARC).
There will be a question-and-answer session following Mr. Gold’s presentation. Residents can view the workshop live on Facebook at www.facebook.com/legislatorDebraM.
This additional workshop is a supplement to a pair of previously scheduled tax grievance forums Legislator Mulé is hosting in partnership with the Assessment Review Commission on Tuesday, Jan. 18 and Tuesday, Jan. 25. Residents who would like to participate in these workshops should visit https://www.nassaucountyny.gov/LD5.
For additional information, please contact Legislator Mulé’s office at 516-571-6205 or via email at Dmule@nassaucountyny.gov.
