Suffolk Authorities Seeking Man Who Stole Purse from LIRR Passenger

Suffolk County, NY - January 9, 2019 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and MTA Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a purse from a LIRR train last month.
A man stole an unattended purse that contained credit cards on an eastbound Long Island Rail Road train on December 2 at approximately 6 a.m. Later that day, the suspect changed his clothes and used the stolen credit cards in Forest Hills.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
