Man Wanted for Robbery Tanger Outlet Store at Knifepoint

Riverhead, NY - January 9th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Police Department officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole money from a store in Riverhead early this month.

On January 6, 2015, at approximately 1:55 p.m., an unknown white male, wearing a black colored hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses, displayed a knife and demanded money from a store employee at the Sunglass Hut, located in the Tanger II Outlet Mall, at 1770 West Main Street. The suspect fled on foot into the parking area of Tanger II with an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
