Rockville Centre, NY - January 8, 2019 - On the twelfth day of Christmas, Nassau County Legislator Debra Mulé (D – Freeport) joined the Hispanic Brotherhood, Hempstead Town Clerk Sylvia Cabana and Hempstead Town Councilman Anthony D’Esposito to spread holiday cheer to youngsters during a Three Kings’ Day celebration and toy drive at the Rockville Centre Recreation Center.

Observed on Jan. 6, Three Kings’ Day marks the 12th day of Christmas. It commemorates the Biblical adoration of baby Jesus and presentation of gifts by the Three Wise Men. The traditional Christian feast day enjoys widespread observance in Hispanic communities throughout the nation and world.

“Every year, this celebration of Three Kings’ Day showcases two of Nassau County’s great strengths – the generosity of its people and the richness of its diversity. It was a privilege to celebrate the holidays with the Hispanic Brotherhood and begin the New Year with such a festive and joyous gathering,” Legislator Mulé said.
