State of Emergency Declared for Islip; Residents Required to Move Cars Off the Road

Islip, NY - January 7, 2017 - Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter has announced that a State of Emergency has been declared in Islip, and therefore residents are required to move their cars off of the road. Town crews have been plowing throughout the day to keep roads and intersections clear and safe for motorists. These crews will continue to operate after snowfall has ceased as part of our snow removal operations.
