Gas Station Worker Arrested For Taking Money From Register in Excess of $25,000

Syosset, NY - January 8, 2016 - The Major Case Bureau reports an arrest for Grand Larceny on Thursday, January 07, 2016 at 7:10 P.M. in Syosset.

According to Crimes Against Property detectives, Mahesh Kc, 27, of Coram, while employed at Syosset Gulf Gas Station located at 251 Jericho Turnpike, falsified records and took money from the register during his shift.  These thefts occurred between May 2015 and December 2015 and were in excess of $25,000.  Detectives placed the defendant under arrest at work without incident.

Kc is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree and five counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st degree and will be arraigned on Friday, January 8, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
