Police: Far Rockaway Teen Arrested for Multiple Pedestrian Robberies

Inwood, NY - January 5, 2017 - Major Case Bureau detectives from the Robbery Squad report the arrest of a Far Rockaway man for multiple robberies that occurred in December 2017.
 
According to detectives, Kevin Moran, 16, was responsible for three pedestrian robberies that all occurred in Inwood.
 
  • 12/09/2017 – Parking lot across from 107 Doughty Blvd. at 1:30 pm. – Victims purse
  • 12/10/2017 – Grand Central Pl. at 10:05 am. – Victims Cash
  • 12/10/2017 – Grand Central Pl. at 12:05 pm. – Attempt / No Proceeds
Moran is charged with Robbery 1st Degree, two (2) counts of Robbery 2nd Degree and Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 1/4/2018.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
