SCPD Crime Alert: Man Robs Gas Station in Huntington Station

Huntington Station, NY - January 3rd, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station in Huntington Station last evening.
A man armed with a gun entered Quality Gas, located at 571 East Jericho Turnpike, and demanded cash from an employee. The employee complied and the suspect fled northbound on Depot Road with an undisclosed amount of money at approximately 9:25 p.m. The employee was uninjured.
The suspect was described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask and two-toned gloves.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about this robbery to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
