Nassau Police Officers Assist in Delivering Elmont Mother's Baby

Elmont, NY - January 2, 2017 - The Fifth Precinct reports the details of an Aided Case which occurred on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 7:20 pm in Elmont.
 
According to Police, officers responded to a 911 call for a woman, 29, in labor, at her residence. The woman, who was nine (9) months pregnant, with assistance from Police Officers Martucci, Smith, DiGregorio and Police Medic Ferrucci, delivered a baby girl.  
 
The mother and her daughter were transported to an area hospital and admitted.
