Man Wanted for Damaging $200 Worth of Products at Centereach Walmart

Centereach, NY - January 2nd, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who removed the caps off multiple containers of oil, rendering the product unsellable, at a Centereach store late last year.

A man removed caps from 13 bottles of motor oil at Walmart, located at 161 Centereach Mall, on October 26, 2014 at approximately 5:50 p.m. The containers of oil, which have a combined value of more than $200, were unable to be sold once the caps were removed.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
