Moriches, NY, January 2, 2014 – Three William Floyd Middle School eighth-grade students – Elizabeth Scianno and brothers Albert and Justin Wheeler – have been chosen for the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association (SCMEA) Middle School All-County Vocal Jazz Ensemble, an honor awarded to the best middle school vocalists in Suffolk County. The trio, along with their peers, will perform at the Middle School All-County Jazz Concert during the first week of February.

"We are so proud of Elizabeth, Albert and Justin – the first William Floyd Middle School students ever selected to participate in the SCMEA All-County Jazz Choir,” said music teacher Donia Rivera. “They were among only 30 students selected in Suffolk County for this terrific opportunity!"
