Man Robs Babylon Bank

Babylon, NY - January 2, 2013 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred today in Babylon.
 
A man entered Chase Bank, located at 31 West Main St., approached a teller and produced a note stating he had a gun and demanding cash. The teller complied and gave the suspect cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot westbound on Main Street.
 
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, between 35 and 40 years old with a medium build. He was unshaven and wearing a dark hooded-sweatshirt, baseball cap and sunglasses.
