Shinnecock East County Park is a rigged undeveloped barrier beach. A favorite spot for fishing, outer beach camping (for self-contained vehicles only) is available at over 100 campsites. Tent-camping is not allowed. Off-road recreational vehicles are permitted to drive on the outer ocean beach.
