This 18-hole public golf course is situated on the west end of Fire Island in the oldest park on Long Island. It can be located near Field 2 and running adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean. Every hole is a par-3 in this layout, which is 1,425 yards long with a par value of 55. It may be a secluded and short course, but it will provide entertainment and challenge for all skill levels. Golfers appreciate the variety of trees and vegetation and the casual meandering of the course along the ocean front. The park is also appreciated for its 5-mile beachfront, which is perfect for swimming, surfing, surf-fishing and sun-bathing. There are several picnic areas and a snack bar. Clubs can be rented on-site. Robert Moses State Park is open from April through November.
