I've been sending my kids to this camp for years now, and they like it more and more every summer. The staff was very user friendly and accommodating to my kids individual needs, and always made sure that everyone at the camp felt included in all of the events. Dina, the director is extremely hands on and is on site each and every day, plus if something ever comes up, and you need anything from her, she is always willing to help out. My kids would never let me even think about sending them to a different camp, luckily for me, this camp is well worth every penny.

I found this camp by sheer luck. And when I say "luck", I mean the "omg-I-must've-saved-a-truckload-of-orphans-in-a-previous-life" kind of luck. After a terrible experience with bullying and social marginalization at a previous camp, Dina was a saving grace for us. My son, who has ADHD and takes meds to help his behavior, was very anxious and introverted on his meds. Dina offered for him to go "med-free" at camp, if we were comfortable with it. She embraced his ADHD and used it to channel his energy into new experiences. We are all set for a second phenomenal summer with the most amazing camp director!!

If you have a child who loves to get out and see things and go on a new adventure every day, the LI Voyagers Day Camp is a perfect choice. My daughter has enjoyed so many little "field trips" with this camp. Her favorite was the day they went to the aquarium. She just loved seeing all those fish, and has begged us to take her back every weekend since. We haven't seen it yet ourselves, so we're looking forward to it. She's done a lot of other fun activities that sound like something we could enjoy at some point as a family.

Excellent! I would highly recommend L. I. Voyagers Day Camp. My children have gone there the last three years and they love it! The staff is responsible and very kind to my kids. The bus picks them up in the morning and drives to the "trip of the day" location -- Wantagh Pool, the Long Island Children's Museum, Adventureland, Dave & Busters, Bowling & a Movie, or a Mets game, etc. The Director is very organized and energetic and treats each child as an individual. She maintains a socially safe environment for all the children. My children are a little bit on the quiet and sensitive side and they were very comfortable participating in all the activities.
