Hecksher Park, on the Great South Bay, offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities on the south shore with its 1600 acres of land. Park visitors will enjoy the various outdoor activities that can be done within the park which include nature trails, camping, and hiking. If one enjoys water activities, visitors can launch boats, wind surf, paddle board, and kayaking. With its large out fields, one can use the area for field sports. Visitors can also enjoy the scenic view with the wildlife that lives within the park including whitetail deer.
