Girl Scouts of Nassau County aims to empower girls to build character, courage and confidence help girls understand themselves and their values, to use their knowledge to explore the world, to connect with other locally and globally, and to take action to make the world a better place. Girl Scouts of Nassau County offers thee unique summer camp for Girl Scouts to visit. Camp Blue Bay Sleep Away Camp in East Hampton offers a wide range of activities for Girl Scouts of all ages. Girls may participate in programs such as CSI (Camp Scene Investigators), where the girls work together to find clues and solve a mystery; the Spice Girls program which teaches scouts indoor cooking techniques; or Night Owls, a two week session filled with night hikes and stargazing. The Cantiaque and Wantagh Summer Fun Day Camps are reserved for girls grades 1-7 and offers traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, cooking, games and song learning.
