Designed by Walter Travis in 1916, this 18-hole private golf course has hosted many championships over the years. Although the modern course has been reworked by Brian Silva, he was able to preserve much of the original character. The distance from the longest tees measures 6,578 yards and the par value is 70 with a rating of 72.8 and a slope of 135. Low-cut roughs, water hazards, strategically placed bunkers and fast, undulating greens offer challenge and interest throughout the course. Each hole has its own unique design. In addition to the regular golf course, members can enjoy the driving range, tennis courts and dining in the new clubhouse. Catering services can handle large social gatherings for members and their guests. Garden City has a reciprocal guest policy with neighboring clubs.
