Family & Children’s Association (FCA) has been protecting children since its inception as an orphanage back in 1884. Today, we focus on the entire family, especially those families under stress from social, emotional or financial challenges. We have been able to help nearly 25,000 individuals each year keep their children, rebuild their lives or remain independent as part of the community. Our mission, “to protect and strengthen Long Island’s most vulnerable children, families and communities” allows us to provide support and counseling to Long Islanders in need.
