Bordering Great South Bay, this 18-hole private club offers its members challenging golf, excellent dining and tennis. The course was originally designed by Seth Raynor and later modified by Robert Trent Jones and Bill Love. It measures 6,329 yards from the longest black tees, 5,539 yards from the white tees and 5,078 from the ladies’ red tees. Golfers can plan to spend about four hours on this par-71 course. The greens are moderate, the fairways have ample landing areas and the water hazards affect only two holes on the slightly rolling course. Weekend tournaments are frequent; twice a month non-residents and guests are invited to play with resident members or the club president. An on-site pro is available for private or group lessons. The club offers a snack bar, beverage cart, full bar and restaurant services to its members and guests.
