Now in its 24th year Art League of Long Island’s Summer Art Adventure Program offers kids and teens fun and creative activities led by certified art educators. Art Adventurers explore a variety of visual arts mediums in age appropriate projects geared to expand students’ artistic horizons. The atmosphere is inspiring and fun. A salon-style art exhibit for family and friends is held at the end of each session. Flexible options allow you to choose one or all program sessions.
Early Childhood and Young Artist Programs (ages 5-10) feature weekly activities centered on exciting themes. Sessions start July 8 and end week of August 5. Pre-teens and teens ages 11-14 find inspiration from the weekly themes, with a focus on developing essential higher level art skills in one or both 10-day sessions beginning July 8 & July 22. Summer Pre-College Portfolio Program (ages 15-18) has two three-week sessions beginning July 8 and July 29 and offers serious art students the chance to delve deeper into the arts and build their college portfolios in a relaxed atmosphere with like-minded individuals. Choose one or more weeks/sessions.
Now in its fifth year, our partnership program gives parents the option of enrolling kids ages 5-9 in the mornings at Summer Art Adventure and afternoons at the nearby Park Shore Country Day Camp.
