Established in 1955, the Art League of Long Island is a not-for-profit visual art center located in the heart of Long Island. From art classes and workshops to exhibitions, special events and more, the Art League of Long Island provides the public with a full calendar of activities covering a wide variety of interests
Adults, teens, and children can enroll in over 240 courses and workshops available year-round in the art studios and at off-sitelocations. Day, evening, and weekend classes in painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, photography, jewelry making, fiber arts, graphic design and more are offered at all levels, from beginner to advanced. Art students can enroll at any time during the course of the year.
For more than 20 years The Art League of Long Island’s Summer Art Adventure Program has been offering kids and teens ages 5-14 fun and creative activities led by dedicated art education professionals. Inspired by weekly themes, Art Adventurers explore a variety of visual arts mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, found-object art and more. Flexible options allow young artists to participate in one or all themed program sessions. Summer Pre-College Portfolio Development (ages 15-18) offers serious art students the chance to delve deeper into the arts and build their college portfolios in a relaxed atmosphere with like-minded individuals.
