It's the weekend before Christmas and there's plenty of holiday cheer and entertainment to go around Long Island!

Christmas is near and Long Island is filled with holiday cheer! On Friday, enjoy the Legends Series “Christmas Spectacular” at Bay Street Theatre, the musical production of Miracle on 34th Street at Take One Theatre or a live performance with Big Shots and members of Billy Joel’s band perform at The Emporium. On Saturday, you can head out to enjoy a Christmas benefit concert at First Presbyterian Church of Greenlawn. The benefit concert will help bring cheer to children impacted by Sandy. There’s also a rock and roll holiday party at The Homestead and a holiday comedy show at The Paramount on Saturday. On Sunday, select from several Christmas productions to enjoy, including Beauty and the Beast’s Magical Christmas, Irvin Berlin’s White Christmas and A Christmas Carol. Check out the details below!

FRIDAY – DECEMBER 21, 2012

Who: The Legends Series “Christmas Spectacular” At Bay Street Theatre
Info: It’ll be a yuletide variety show film with rare and classic vintage holiday performances by Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Earth Kitt, Herb Alpert, The Supremes, Judy Garland and many others.

Who: Miracle On 34th Street, The Musical At Take One Theatre
Info: Enjoy a wonderful holiday production of Miracle on 34th Street as a musical. It is a special holiday production at a discounted price as a gift to all attendees.

Who: Big Shots With Members Of Billy Joel’s Band At The Emporium

SATURDAY – DECEMBER 22, 2012

Who: Christmas Benefit Concert At First Presbyterian Church Of Greenlawn
Info: This benefit concert is an effort to help victims of Superstorm Sandy, particularly the young children. It hopes to ensure children a happy Christmas. The concert will have a variety of musical guest, including opera singer Robert Murphy, other singer professionals and local high school students. Donations of new, unwrapped toys are requested to distribute the children impacted by Sandy.

Who: Rock And Roll Holiday Party At The Homestead In Oyster Bay
Info: Come down to enjoy great food, a bar and an inviting atmosphere to celebrate the holidays. The Rock It Fuel band will play live and there will also be other great talents, including a sax player, drummer playing to great rock classics and more.

Who: Ha Ha Holiday Show Comedy Series At The Paramount

Who: Beauty And The Beast’s Magical Christmas At Arena Players Repertory Theatre
Info: This is the last day to enjoy the charming performance of a tale of love and the joys of Christmas.

Who: Gateway Play House: Irvin Berlin’s White Christmas At Patchogue Theatre For The Performing Arts
Info: It will continue to play through December 30. Head out to enjoy the production with wonderful music, including ‘Blue Skies,’ ‘How Deep is the Ocean?,’ ‘White Christmas’ and more. It tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show at a magical Vermont inn where they find their perfect mates.

Who: A Christmas Carol At Theatre Three
