Practice your aim, strategy, and laser tag skills at Q-ZAR

General admission $7 per game. Daily weekday game specials are as little as $5 per person. 

Dish out and dodge neon laser dashes throughout Q-ZAR's 4,000 square-foot arena. Q-ZAR is described as "getting inside a video game" as you are challenged with games of strategy and skill surrounded by special effects lighting and electronic techno sounds and lighting. Explore the Tackapausha Museum and Preserve

Explore the Tackapausha Preserve and take a walk on a clearly marked trail though an 84-acre sanctuary of oak forests, ponds, streams, small mammals and scores of bird species. After your walk, if the weather is uncooperative, or if hiking is just not your thing, you can visit the 3,000-square-foot museum which features displays about the ecology of Long Island, as well as animal exhibits and shows and interactive activities for children. Located on the Concourse Level near LensCrafters and the kids play area at the Roosevelt Field Mall is Glowgolf, a psychedelic, glow-in-the-dark indoor miniature golf course. Can you get through the fun and challenging 28-hole course? Glowgolf also has a Laser Maze Challenge. Purchase one game for $3 or three games for $5.

Dig into a famous Krisch’s ice cream sundae

Krisch’s Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlour features many breakfast, lunch, and dinner delights, but is renowned for its famous ice cream.
