Mastic Beach, New York - Elementary students from across the William Floyd UFSD were invited to the Annual Holiday Party hosted by William Floyd high school FBLA students. The children participated in holiday games like Pin the Nose on the Reindeer and Limbo, and many had their face-painted.

The Future Business Leaders of American organization encourages members to contribute to their community by taking active roles in service events. FBLA advisor and William Floyd High School Business teacher Jacqueline Giacalone said, "The Holiday Party brings the children together and it's a great intergenerational event and community service project for the high school students."

The elementary youngsters are delighted to spend time and celebrate the holiday season with their peers. Best of all, each child brought home reindeer food.

The FBLA is the largest student-run organization in the USA. Through activities and community service the high school students develop leadership skills, character, confidence, and engage in practical experiences that are positive.
