Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a man in a mobility scooter in Greenlawn this afternoon.
 
Brian Finkelstein was driving a 2019 Audi southbound on Manor Road when the vehicle struck a man in a mobility scooter that had been traveling eastbound on Cuba Hill Road and was attempting to cross the intersection at 2:26 p.m.
 
The pedestrian, Ettore Bosco, 92, of Greenlawn, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious physical injuries. Finkelstein, 37, of Centerport, was not injured in the crash.
 
The Audi was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252.
