This patchy black ice will be mainly confined to secondary and tertiary roadways, along with walkways and poor drainage areas. The chill in the air makes everyone want to cozy up indoors. This week, enjoy movies playing at select Long Island libraries, including The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel at Amityville Library and Arthur Christmas at Mineola Library. There is also a musical performance by Brian Setzer Orchestra at NYCB Theatre at Westbury, comedy shows, dancing and the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County’s 9th Annual Holiday Light Show to enjoy. Who: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel At Amityville Library
Info: Enjoy an afternoon movie at the library. It’ll be showing The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. It tells the story of British retirees traveling to India and staying at a newly restored hotel. The hotel is less luxurious than advertised but soon after the charm of the hotel comes in unexpected ways.

Who: Arthur Christmas At Mineola Library

Who: Girl Scouts of Suffolk County’s  9th Annual Holiday Light Show at Camp Edey
Info: Back for the 9th year, this holiday light show is a mile-long drive through a wooded trail. Get ready to be amazed by dazzling light displays and holiday vignettes. There’s also a Holiday Village to take a photo with Santa, visit the Hall of Trees and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa with snacks. This holiday light show continues through December 30 all week long.
Cost: $12 Per Car ($15 Per Car Friday – Saturday)

Who: Comedy Show at KAZAN of Port Washington
