Written by Catherine Eve  |  22. November 2020

On a Sunday morning do you ever feel like having a great brunch but just don’t feel like leaving your house? The Diner Boys has you covered. The Diner Boys is a takeout- and delivery-only diner in North Merrick and had its grand opening on November 20th. It has an extensive menu featuring classic diner dishes including pancakes, waffles, burgers, wings, create your own omelettes, wraps, salads, and more.

Grilled cheese lovers won’t want to miss its gourmet twists on the traditional favorite such as  the Cheesy Tot (tots, cheddar mozzarella, and bacon), and leave room for a specialty shake like the Nutella Peanut Butter Shake. The Diner Boys also has a vegan menu featuring Impossible Chili, Impossible Nachos, and Buffalo Chick’N Wrap.

According to its website, The Diner Boys was founded by two diner veterans, Peter Glykos and Michael Campbell, who aim to take “classic diner food and revolutionize it to the modern taste palette.”

People seem to love the concept of a takeout-only diner. The reviews so far have been overwhelmingly positive, with customers noting the food quality, large portion sizes, quick delivery, and vegan options.
