Dear Long Islander,
We've made it half way through November already, and Thanksgiving is now less than two weeks a way, even though it feels as though Halloween was not so long ago! The temperatures have really begun to drop - earlier this week, Long Island even had a Freeze Watch in effect. Despite the chill outside, Long Islanders are warming up by giving back this holiday season, supporting local charities in their Thanksgiving Food Drives, and of course preparing for the big day themselves. To help you get ready nice and early this year, this week's newsletter includes the scoop on how to easily prep & serve your turkey, as well as catering options for those who may not want to cook this holiday. Not quite ready for the holidays? Not to worry - we've also got the scoop on this week's best events, entertainment, and more - get all the details below!
